I'm lazy sometimes!
I'll admit it, some days I am just lazy! Today is one of those days. Today is one of the first days in a bit that I haven't had much going on. Yesterday I volunteered at my 6 year old's kindergarten class, took my 3 year old to speech class, made dinner, did some paperwork, had a meeting in the evening, etc. and today I don't have any of that stuff that needs to be done but I just have not been motivated to get stuff done today. Believe me, there is a lot that could be done around the house. I haven't yet decided what's for dinner and it's 3 o'clock. Plus, it's beautiful out so I should be much more energized. I'm even too lazy to put a picture on this post!

So tired!
I'm soo tired right now. I have a whole list that I could write about my day and my kids (one in particular) to explain why I'm so tired, but I'm too tired to write that right now. So for now I'm going to hope that my 2 1/2 year old stays down for his nap so I can sit down and eat lunch. Maybe after that, I'll vent some more about my day. Until then,
To be continued, maybe.

Want an unlimited Data Plan for your Smartphone? You have until Thursday
I just heard the news that Verizon Wireless will be changing it's unlimited data plan for Smartphones (including the iPhone) on Thursday July 7th. New customers who purchase a smart phone will now have tiered options to choose from which are:
$10 a month for 75MB
$30 a month for 2GB
$50 a month for 5GB
$80 a month for 10GB
Also, if you go over your plan, you will be charged $10 per GB over.
Currently Verizon's data plan is $30 a month for unlimited usage.
This is not new in the industry, Apple also has a tiered data plan, which is slightly less than Verizon's will be.
What does this mean for you? If you use under 2GB a month, then you won't be affected much, in fact you may be able to change your plan over to $10 a month. However if you are close to that 2GB, you may need to keep a close eye on your usage each month. Verizon says (I called them) that most customers do not use more than 2GB a month and therefore most of their customers will not be affected by this change.
But what if you do use more than 2GB a month, say you are a blogger who uses your smartphone for most of your work. Well there are two options, the first option is, if you are already a Verizon customer you should be grandfathered in to the unlimited data plan. This should count if you upgrade your phone also (notice I said should). But you will most likely only be grandfathered with an upgrade on the same brand. So an iPhone 4 upgraded to an iPhone 5, still grandfathered. An Iphone upgraded to a Droid, probably not going to happen.
What if you aren't a Verizon customer, or you don't have a smartphone that would be included. Option two is to sign up before Thursday July 7th. I know, there's not a lot of time!
The third option is to just suck it up and pay the additional costs if you get a new smartphone from Verizon after July 7th.
I choose Option 2. I'm already a Verizon customer, but not with a great phone. I've been planning on getting an iPhone for awhile now, I've just been waiting for the prices to go down. I don't know if I'll go over the 2GB a month or not, but now I feel comfortable knowing that I won't have one more thing to worry about each month. But I'm sure the prices on the iPhone will go down very shortly now!

My Brainfart of the Week
So this morning the news was on and my 5 year old son heard that it was going to be a beautiful day today in Delaware and got excited. At that time, I decided it would be a great day for us to go swimming since I had just resigned up at the YMCA last Wednesday. My son goes to camp Tuesday-Thursday until 12, so I planned on us going after camp. In the morning when I was getting our stuff together, I looked for my phone, couldn't find it, called in from the house phone, heard it buzzing yet still couldn't find it, so I had to leave without it.
We had a great time at the pool. We went to the Western Y on Kirkwood Highway and this was our first time at this pool and I loved it. It had a nice area for younger kids and it was obvious that the lifeguards were very vigilant.
Around 6:30 pm while at home, I noticed that my phone was under one of the couches (of course it's there, where else would my phone be!). I saw that I had a text message. It was from my 2 year old's speech therapist who comes to our house on Thursdays saying that she was at the house and we weren't there- I had completely forgotten! His speech therapist comes every Thursday and I had completely forgotten- the worst part was that I had just looked at the calendar yesterday and knew that it was coming up!
I feel like such an idiot when I do things like this. Just last week I locked us out of the house on our way to see Day Out with Thomas. I could understand doing stuff like this if I was pregnant or super stressed, but I'm neither. I just don't know what's up with me!

What I wore Wednesday- my first try!
I actually wore this the Friday before last- it sometimes takes me a while to post things :b
I'm going to have to figure out the best place to take pictures from a good angle. I'm also doing Weight Watchers, so this will give me a good reference of how I'm looking in my clothes. So here's what I wore:
Pink & Gray Argyle Sweater from New York & Company, underneath the sweater I have on my Maidenform at Home Black Slimming Tank (not currently available- was a special offer for Hosts and Consultants in March), Jeans from Gap and the adorable Peach Chrysanthemum Flower Necklace from Love Stitched that I actually purchased from Groopdealz
Where I wore it: The plan was to wear this to my internship for casual Friday but instead it was spent taking my 5 year old to the doctor thinking he had strep only to find out that it was suspected he had mono! We then went to AI DuPont Children's Hospital to get blood work done which confirmed that he did in fact have Mono- what a day :(

Groopdealz- April 8th
Remember yesterday when I had said that I've only purchased two things from Groopdealz so far. Well one of the items was a necklace made by Love Stitched. Luckily for you, they have another necklace listed on Groopdealz today. It's a lot more funky than the Peach Chrysanthemum Flower Necklace
that I had ordered (and I mean funky in a good way). I think it would look great against a plain tee as the backdrop! In the picture they have it paired with a white color, but I can't pull off white tees- I just make too much of a mess! But I could totally see it with a brown tee like this Coffee Brown Shirred V-Neck Top from New York and Company that just happens to be on sale for their Deal of the Day for $7.99. Although I'm wondering if the top is cut too low.
Maybe even paired with this cute Women's Pintucked Lace Trim Tank Dress from Old Navy
Love it!

Groopdealz- My Fave Today :)
I'm pretty new to Groopdealz, I've only ordered two items so far, but they always have super cute reasonable priced items. Today they have 3 items up on their dealz that are all lovely but my favorite is the "Did Someone Say Chocolate Bunnies" Vinyl made by Summer Scraps, perfect for Easter. I would totally order it, but I don't have a plate or other fun item to put it on. I'm definitely going to have to keep an eye out for something because I am always seeing fun vinyls that I want!

Keeping it Real- my closet- brace yourself!
I share my closet with my husband- he has the left side and I have the right. He mentioned today that our closet is getting a little out of control- isn't that an understatement. I've recently started reading some minimalist family blogs such as The Minimalist Mom and while I am no where even close to that point, they are awesome motivators to get rid of some of my crap so that I can focus on things that are more important to me- like family and friends. So this will be my first step towards going Minimalish :)
